Our History
In 1991, Russ & Cheryl Woodmansee purchased a 1915 building on the corner of Main & 8th Street in the small rural community of Florence, AZ. When under way, they soon had the operation down to a science, with a push button register and hand-typed statements. Eight years later they acquired the 10,000sqft attached south building where they began the badly needed restoration. Today, Florence True Value now occupies a fully historic homemade building; complete with a hammer front door handle, three working streetlights, two real fire hydrants, fire pole, high-wheel bike, local donated antiques and free fresh popcorn.
